ANNUAL SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR WEEK 2 Monday 30 July (Sausage Sizzle and Bacon Sammies available!) Tuesday 31 July Wednesday 1 August 3 - 8pm in the school library Eftpos, Cash and Credit Card payment available The fabulous Book Fair is on once more!  Books, books and more books!   Every purchase earns money for our school library PLUS puts you in the draw for a free book! If anyone is able to help out for an hour or two selling books please contact Cath 021 800 009 We will also be having a book character costume day on Wednesday 1 August :)

    Goodnight Stories For Rebel Girls 2 Authors:Francesca Cavallo and Elena Favilli Hedy Lamarr, Mary Seacole, Pauline L é on, these are only few of the 200 extraordinary woman featured in this book. All put into mini biographies but have a huge meaning. They all have their unique stories and journeys, some from not very long ago shared in this book and you can pick up a lot from it.                          What is it about? This book is about 200 women who weren't afraid to be who they were or to speak up for what they believed in. To fight for the right thing and reach their goal. To strive to achieve the impossible.                          Who is this book for? I think this book is for anyone, boy or girl, 5 or 50. Everyone can learn from these stories and different meaning. Some words in the book are a bit tricky but there's also a glossary at the back of the book if you don’t know what something means. This book had lots of different storie

COOKIES TO SUPPORT GUIDE DOGS

Waterloo School and Room 3 have been very busy baking and icing delicious biscuits for the Annual Guide Dog Blind Foundation fundraising event.  They are selling these cute biscuits for $1 every morning tea break under the Archgola. All money raised is going to support and help the guide dog puppies train and get resources.
