Three book reviews by Sienna

The Imaginary A. F. Harrold * * * * Well....there's a lot to say for this book.  To be honest at first I didn't like this book at all.  I thought it was weird, didn't make sense, scary and just wasn't my type.  However, I started this book about five times and every time I would put it down then think to try again.  I just kept reading and it started to all make sense.  I still wasn't the biggest fan of the book though.  As I got close to the finish it got really sad and scary.  In the end it was quite an interesting and enjoyable book.  Great for Yr 5 - 6 The Midnight Gang David Walliams Tony Ross * * * * * I have to say this is definitely one of my favourite books.  I have read this book about five times.  The Midnight Gang is a group of children who are at hospital, and at midnight they all meet and have adventures.  At the hospital there are horrible matrons.  Read this book to go through The Midnight Gang's wonderful adventures. BOOK REVIEW - BY TAHINA

A Series of Unfortunate Events:The Bad Beginning                                          Lemony Snicket Three orphans, eleven guardians, one villain, one fortune and a whole lot of drama. The Bad Beginning is only one of the crazy books from A Series of Unfortunate Events. Violet,Klaus and Sunny go on a big adventure when there parents suddenly die from a fire. They need to learn how to survive while being chased from an evil villain trying to steal their big family fortune. I thought the book and series was very suspense building and once I read the first book (The Bad Beginning) I had to read the series.I like the the characters because they all have different personalities and characteristics. The book and series is filled with mysteries and adventure so if you like them you should read this. I would rate this book and series 10/10 and I would recommend it for year 5 and 6 and for people who like cliffhangers.
PERCY JACKSON AND THE SEA OF MONSTERS Rick Riordan Reviewed by Ray (Year 6) One of my favourites!  A great action and adventure book for those who want a good mix of Greek Mythology and adventure.  The second in the series.   Recommended for anyone who likes Gods and Adventure  * * * * *

BILLIONAIRE BOY - a book review by Caleb

Amazing story and great illustrations by Tony Ross.  It is a story about a boy who is a billionaire, and his Dad makes money from making toilet rolls.  The boy does not care about money, he just cares about a friend.  He didn't have a friend at school but when he went to a different school things started to change.  This story is brilliant.  I loved it, so you should get it out.  It is Amazing.  Great for Year 3 - 6 * * * * *
